A study in print, pattern, and inspiration.
Dear Spring,

Good Morning! I just added a few things to "a paper bag of pearls" last night...click here to visit my shop for more pictures and descriptions.
Hello...not having the greatest week at work, which makes me un-creative at home. I haven't figured out how to really separate the two. Today, I drew just to draw. It made me feel a little bit better.
'Nuff said. Happy Sunday!!! Off to work on my Illustration Friday- this week's topic is "celebrate"

Happy Valentine's Day! Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays, not really because of the actual day, but more because I really love all of the cute stuff! Especially these very sweet vintage valentines (circa 1930) that were all given to a Miss Helen Blue. I really wish that children still exchanged beautiful cards like these... I rescued them from a box in an antique store! Helen Blue, are you out there?
Hello...I had a bit of an un-creative last week! I think the winter blues are beginning to get to me. I am going to work to push through it and get back in the groove this week! Here is my Illustration Friday drawing for the week. The subject is "time". I have been drawn to images of clocks lately and I envisioned them hanging out like birds on a power line. So there you go...
The etsy shop is up and running! Welcome to "a paper bag of pearls"! I have been working hard to photograph and list most of my inventory and plan on adding new items to the shop every week! Click here to visit!
