My Illustration Friday submission for "Talisman"...I have been trying not to post prior work for illustration friday submits, but for some strange reason, I haven't been able to come up with anything that I liked for this subject! {which is weird if you know me- I am a believer in good luck charms and a collector of my own "talismans"} I tried three times! However, I have been ill this past week which makes me very uncreative, which then makes me grouchy! So this is a pattern that I created in college and although it was controversial because of the spiders, it has remained one of my favorites! I think it represents "Talisman" perfectly- it makes me think of stumbling upon a treasure trove of vintage jewelry in an attic, covered with dust and scary spiders. {dream come true}
